Big week.

A lot happened this week, and progress was made on the middle grade novel!

Family vacation to Monhegan Island in Maine. About a 40 minute drive down to the peninsula and then a one hour boat ride to the island. It is a gorgeous place, and despite some grumpiness here and there we had a great time. We hiked, we swam, we read, and the kids got to hang out with their island friends.

Anyhow, it was a good time, and I even got a good amount of writing done in a regular old notebook!

The day after we got back from Monhegan we got this polar bear-looking-puppy, much to our other dog’s chagrin.

This is Jorgie. She’s doing great. We are tired - her biggest challenge is sleeping in her kennel. Hoping she starts to get the hang of it soon.
